Introduction
Originally from Manchester in the U.K, now residing in Las Vegas Nevada, Kaz is our transatlantic correspondent and resident photographer. When she’s not writing about casinos you can usually find her playing blackjack and poker at any of the top casinos in Las Vegas, where she has become quite a force on the Pro-Am tournament circuits.
But like Shakespeare once said; “You can take a girl out of Manchester but you can’t take the Manchester out of the girl”, so the free Vegas drinks are encouragement enough for her to do some ‘hands-on’ research when it comes to news and developments in the market.
Her vision of online casino games
Karen has her fingers on the pulse of casino gaming, entertainment, and business. When it comes to the news which most would consider to be dull and met with wide yawning faces, the information is valuable. She has seen and experienced the shift in play from land-based sites to online gambling.
Karen believes (though probably tipped off) that soon every Nevada casino will be online as an alternative to their original offering. She also thinks that it will only be a matter of time that land-based casinos out in Vegas soon become like the colossal ruins of Rome.

Her passion began in the bingo halls of Manchester, the now Gala Bingo hall of Kirkmanshulme Lane -no, we checked!- it’s a real name and place. For Karen, the thrill was made more entertaining in the company of her Grandmother, whom she refers to as Nana Bingo. She loves how something can bring people together in a seemingly serious environment to win yet, continuously trying to dab each other’s numbers before they are even called.
Though we did ask her about ‘online games’, this was her response!
